It’s almost time for a sound check on the Main Stage at Indian Trail’s Crossing Paths Park, as the Hits After Six concert series arrives in April.
The opening show – featuring 70s and 80s classic rock band Sonic Rewind – will take place Thursday, April 4, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Uptown Indian Trail park. It will include food and drink vendors such as Olde Mecklenburg Brewery, Lenny’s Press Box and Kona Ice, in addition to a bounce house, face painting and yard games for kids. Attendees also will be able to win an exclusive 2019 Hits After Six concert series t-shirt at the event.
“What better way to enjoy a beautiful North Carolina evening than sitting outdoors, listening to great music with friends, family and maybe a drink?” Indian Trail Special Events Coordinator Hayden Kramer said. “We’re very excited about the great lineup we have for the 2019 Hits After Six concert series, and we’re looking forward to rocking Downtown Indian Trail and bringing our community together again.”
All Hits After Six will take place on Thursday evenings in Crossing Paths Park. The 80s tribute band Kids In America will perform May 16; beach music band The Catalinas will take the stage on August 15; and beach music band Too Much Sylvia will perform on September 19.
God Bless the USA, Inc., which is Indian Trail’s garbage and recycling collection partner, will once again sponsor the concert series. Find more information on events at www.itsparksandrec.com.
