It’s time to take a moment and thank the team that helps keep Indian Trail functioning at its highest level every day.
National Public Works Week will be celebrated across the country from May 21 to 27. In recognition of that, the Town of Indian Trail is taking the time to thank the men and women of its Public Works department. The team is responsible for keeping the Town’s infrastructure in working order each day - maintaining the Town’s buildings and grounds as well as streets, sidewalks, Indian Trail’s three parks and much more. The Public Works Department also is responsible for some stormwater requests, the Town’s solid waste and recycling contract and other tasks.
"National Public Works Week provides the opportunity for the community to get to know our team and all they do each and every day for our citizens," Adam McLamb, Director of the Indian Trail Public Services Division, said. “So if you see them out in your neighborhood, be sure to stop and say hello.”
Mayor Michael Alvarez read a proclamation marking National Public Works Week at the Tuesday, May 23, Indian Trail Town Council meeting. It was adopted earlier this month. Learn more about what the Indian Trail Public Works team does at http://indiantrail.org/399/Public-Works.
