PUBLIC NOTICE
Dear Property Owner,
The Indian Trail Town Council adopted a Resolution of Consideration at its Tuesday, November 29, 2011 meeting. According to the NC General Statute Section §160A-58.55, any municipal governing board desiring to annex territory shall first pass a resolution of consideration identifying areas under consideration for annexation. This adoption is a renewal of the previously adopted Resolution. The Resolution of Consideration is required to be renewed and adopted before expiration of the two-year period covering the same area. Properties identified in the Resolution of Consideration are not required to be annexed into the Town but may be considered for annexation at some point within the next two years. Many of these areas are surrounded by Indian Trail’s existing jurisdictional boundaries.
You are receiving this notification because you are an owner of property located within the identified area within the Resolution. Enclosed is a copy of the adopted Resolution of Consideration. A larger version of the associated map is available from 9:00a.m. until 5:00p.m., Monday through Friday at the Indian Trail Planning & Neighborhood Services Department, which is located at 130 Blythe Drive, Indian Trail, NC 28079, or on our website, at http://www.indiantrail.org.
