As chief administrator for the town, Mr. Fivas is responsible for administering the policy and decisions made by the Town Council and overseeing all day-to-day operations of town government.
Furthermore, Mr. Fivas directs and supervises the administration of the Indian Trail Development Services and Town Administration departments, prepares and submits annual budgets to Council, and maintains contact with federal, state and county agencies in regard to local relationships between the Town government and the general public.
Of top priority for Mr. Fivas is ensuring efficient and cost-effective delivery of all town services, and quality customer service to all town citizens.
Prior to his position with Indian Trail, Mr Fivas served as the City Manager for the City of Owosso, Michigan. He was also the Assistant Director of State Affairs for the Michigan Municipal League, and served as a Policy Advisor to the Michigan Speaker of the House. Mr. Fivas holds a Law Degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School and a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Science, both from Central Michigan University.
