The Town organizes several events throughout the year. Some of these are produced in collaborations with active civic groups in Indian Trail. All events are family oriented and have earned a special place in the hearts of the residents of Indian Trail. Participating in the town events is a great way to get involved in the community. There are always volunteer opportunities available for each event. Contact the Town for more information.
Earth Day/Arbor Day
The Town has an annual Earth Day/Arbor Day celebration. Starting two years ago, the two events were joined into one celebration. Earth Day/Arbor Day will be held on April 24th this year on the front lawn of Indian Trail Town Hall. Bring the whole family out for this celebration; activities will include several demonstrations, informational booths, food, and rides for children.

Spring Clean Up Day
Indian Trail Clean Up Day is a volunteer event focused on beautifying our community. Choose from locations ranging from your own neighborhood to public schools. So gather your neighbors, friends, or civic groups to participate in this important event. The Town will provides bags, gloves and vests and refreshments. Registration is required beforehand. Please contact the Town for more information.

Farmers Market
The Farmers Market began in 2009. The market was held on Saturday mornings on the Town Hall front lawn.

Fourth of July Parade
The Fourth of July Parade is one of the most popular events in the Town. Many families line the streets each year to watch the parade route as it travels through the downtown on Indian Trail Road. There are also festivities at the Town Hall before the parade usually including vendor booths and rides for the children.

Family Fun Day
Family Fun Day is an annual festival held in the fall. The Town celebrated it 3rd annual Family Fun Day in October of last year. Festivities include foods, vendor booths, rides, and activities for the whole family.

The Christmas Tree Lighting
Come see the lighting of the Christmas Tree on the front lawn of the Town Hall as the Christmas Season begins. This annual event is usually held in late November or early December. Last year families enjoyed warm apple cider and hot s'mores from the bonfire as they listened to caroling from the local high school choir. Santa Clause even came on fire truck and was able to light the tree with the help of the children.


The Christmas Parade
The Union West Rotary of Indian Trail produces the annual Christmas Parade. This parade is usually held on the Sunday following Thanksgiving each year. This parade route goes through the downtown of Indian Trail on Indian Trail Road.
