Over 22 Tons Collected At 2nd Annual Indian Trail Trash And Recycling Drop-off Day

Waste Pro USA, Indian Trail’s solid waste provider, collected over 22 tons (45,120 pounds) of trash and recyclables at the Indian Trail 2nd Annual Trash and Recycling Drop-off Day. Waste Pro USA, Firestone Complete Auto Care, and Cintas were on site April 28 to collect a range of items from Indian Trail residents including yard waste, metal, tires, construction and demolition materials, electronics, batteries, oil, white goods (appliances), paper and bulk waste.
Hwy 74 Corridor Community Design Workshops

Union County, in collaboration with the Town of Indian Trail, The Town of Stallings and the City of Monroe, has contracted with HNTB Corporation to conduct a revitalization study addressing issues and needs along US-74. In order to effectively address community concerns with the US-74 corridor study a series of community design workshops have been scheduled during the month of May. All area residents, US-74 corridor business owners, and daily corridor users are invited to attend and participate in the public meetings which will focus discussions on US-74 transportation, land use, aesthetics, and market response.
