The Indian Trail Town Council has appointed Jim Wojtowicz, CPA, to serve as interim town manager.
Wojtowicz (pictured at right), who also serves as the head of Indian Trail's Finance Division, has been with the Town since March 2016. Wojtowicz (pronounced Wad-O-Wits) has a number of years of experience in finance departments, having served as the Comptroller for the Town of Poughkeepsie, Dutchess County, New York, for 13 years, and as the Commissioner of Finance for Poughkeepsie for seven years. He is a graduate of Niagara University with a BBA in Accounting, and of Marist College with a MPA.
Wojtowicz has replaced outgoing Town Manager Scott Kaufhold, effective Wednesday, Feb. 15. The Town will soon start the process of selecting a permanent town manager.
The next Indian Trail Town Council meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 21, at 6:30 p.m. at the Indian Trail Civic Building, 100 Navajo Trail.
