The following information comes from the Union County government offices.
Union County Government has launched a branding initiative that will help share what is special about not only Union County Government, but Union County as a whole.
“Branding will help us define who we are, what makes us unique in the region, and bring to life a visual identity that will proudly showcase Union County,” said Kathryn Brown, Public Communications Director.
Union County is partnering with a national leader in community branding, North Star. The branding initiative is research-driven, strategic, and thorough.
Community input is encouraged through an online survey that is open August 24, 2020, through September 9, 2020. Responses from the survey and other research will help uncover the essence of Union County, which will guide the creative phase of the project that includes developing a new logo for Union County Government.
“We know Union County is special, and refreshed branding will help us present that to everyone else,” said Mark Watson, County Manager. “My hope is this initiative will attract jobs and investment, drive more resident engagement, and display our Union County pride. Branding can help us define a distinct sense of place for those who live, visit, and do business here.”
