Waste Connections has informed the Town that they will not pick up any solid waste tomorrow, Saturday, Jan. 31, due to the predicted heavy snowfall. All Waste Connections operations in the greater Charlotte region will be closed.
Due to the pickup delay earlier this week, residents who have regular Friday pickup will not receive service this week.
Waste Connections will return to normal operations on Monday. This means that their regular Monday routes will occur on Monday, and they will resume a normal pickup schedule for the remainder of the week.
Friday customers who were missed this week: We apologize for this inconvenience. Waste Connections will pick up any additional trash you have next Friday. If you don’t have any more room in your trash can, you can place any extra bags next to it, and they will be picked up.
