The Town of Indian Trail, in partnership with God Bless the USA, has decided to delay the regularly scheduled bulk waste pick-up in May. A new date has not been established. This decision was made to reduce the risk of solid waste employees being exposed to COVID-19 as they must physically touch the bulk waste to dispose of it.
As a reminder, yard waste pick-up is also suspended until further notice. Solid waste and recycle cart pick-up will continue.
The Union County Solid Waste Management Facility (landfill) is still open and accepts both yard waste and bulk items. For more information, visit http://www.unioncountync.gov/departments/public-works/solid-waste-and-recycling.
