October is National Community Planning Month
Indian Trail’s Planning Staff offers local elementary students a chance to understand more fully land use and zoning. In honor of celebrating the month, we would like to invite you and your students to a Box City event session hosted by the Town of Indian Trail Planning Department at your school.
This program enables students to effectively construct their own city out of pre-provided materials during school hours. Box City is a multi-disciplinary program that teaches students about geography, town planning, community, and a sense of place in regards to how towns develop. 
We would like to cordially offer you and your school a chance to host Box City this year, and we would like to schedule a day, time and place this month to offer this program to your students if you are interested. The Town's Planning Board will decide the winner, and the Box City winning Town will be recognized by the Planning Board at an official meeting.
This year's Box City event is being sponsored by The Moser Group.
