The Town of Indian Trail has recently added a number of additional parking spaces in the Downtown area to support visitors to local businesses and provide more parking during Town events.
Additional parking spaces have been added on Matthews-Indian Trail Road beside the Carolina Courts building and Chestnut Square Park. There also are additional spaces on Blythe Drive, near the Indian Trail Administrative Building and Crossing Paths Park. Seventy-four spaces have been added so far, and the additional spaces will be available for residents to utilize during the upcoming IT’s A Wonderful Life Christmas Parade and Festival on December 3.
The Town is currently looking at other options for adding parking spaces in the Downtown area. An additional parking area will be available with 95 spaces when the new Town Hall building opens on Matthews-Indian Trail Road in December, and an additional 40 spaces will be added in the future on Blythe Drive.
