Indian Trail Councilman Monty Keistler has resigned his seat on the Indian Trail Town Council, effective immediately.
Keistler, who was elected in November 2017, resigned for personal reasons.
“It has been my honor to serve the residents of Indian Trail,” Keistler said. “I know that we will all continue to work together for the good of the Town. It has been a pleasure to serve with such a fine group of people.”
The Indian Trail Town Council will discuss the process of filling the vacant seat for the remainder of Keistler's term, which ends in December 2019, at a future meeting.
