Crews working on behalf of the Town of Indian Trail began this year’s road resurfacing contract work this week, and will be working on area roads throughout October.
Crews will be conducting curb repairs the early part of this week, before moving on to milling and paving work later this week on the following roads: Cadberry Court, Shumard Circle, Elmsworth Lane, Treeside Lane and Spanish Moss Road. All work is weather-permitting.
Work will continue the week of Oct. 15 with any remaining needs on the roads listed above, as well as milling and paving work on Stratford Drive, Sandbox Circle and French Scout Court. Crews will add work on Arrow Drive and Blackfoot Lane the week of Oct. 22.
Work should wrap up the week of Oct. 29, with focus on Maple Leaf Drive and Second Avenue, as well as any roads listed above that have not been completed.
Roads are selected for the annual resurfacing contract based on the Town’s pavement condition survey, which analyzes area roads and identifies maintenance needs and an estimated cost for mitigation.
